I am a clinical psychologist with over 35 years of experience providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults.
My practice includes individual and family therapy, working from a systems point of view, with an expertise in working with adolescents and adults suffering from ADHD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions more broadly.
I carry out comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess for learning, attention, and emotional issues that may be impacting the child’s learning process and school experience. I specialize in diagnosing and evaluating children with ADHD, specific learning disabilities, anxiety, and mood disorders.
Furthermore, I also have more than twenty years of experience working as a consultant for schools. More specifically, I work with teachers, administrators, and families to build and sustain teams that support children through times of struggle and crisis. I also consult with schools about children I work with in my practice, to create partnerships that provide a framework for the child’s academic success and social and emotional wellbeing.
I draw from a variety of frameworks, developmental, family systems, biopsychosocial, cognitive-behavioral, and interpersonal among them, to work with people to build insight and self awareness, to manage stress and anxiety, to create strong relationships, and to navigate life transitions.
